Founded in 1999, the APCO Worldwide office in Geneva serves as the base for the APCO Global Trade Practice.

Geneva is home to international trade, with the WTO based there and serving as the forum for negotiation of trade rules and dispute settlement. As the only global public affairs group with a strong presence in Geneva, the Global Trade Practice, together with APCO trade team members located elsewhere in key political and financial capitals, provides strategic intelligence and advice to clients dealing with local, regional and multinational trade issues, particularly those before the WTO.

In addition to these services, APCO assists clients in developing messages and materials for distribution, organizing meetings and engaging in discussions with the media.

Beyond the WTO, APCO assists clients in building relations with relevant Geneva institutions, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), International Labour Organization (ILO), International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), as well as with the broader business and media communities.
